Hi
We are looking at purchasing either a Flail mower or blade mower to top our paddocks.
Can anyone recommend which we should buy. We will tow this behind a 4 wheeler motorbike. Our land is only 6 acres and nice and flat with no rough ground. It is all in grass with a few trees planted around.

both will do the job if they can be raised high enough. It seems the slasher mower is a bit dearer but i would hire one of each to see how it suits your conditions.
5 acres, Ferguson 35X and implements, Hanmay pto shredder, BMW Z3, Countax ride on mower, chooks, Dorper and Wiltshire sheep. Bosky wood burning central heating stove and radiators. Retro caravan. Growing our own food and preserving it. Small vineyard, crap wine. :)

For flat, grassy paddocks like yours, I'd lean towards a blade mower. They're usually more budget-friendly and work well for maintaining even terrain. Plus, towing it behind a 4 wheeler should be a breeze.
