We live just south of Sue and in about 48hrs our rainwater tank collected 8000l :0 Hopefully Sue you had some of what we received.

Yes, we got some nice rain-glad we hadn't changed the mud grip tyres on the Ute this summer!
We had 60 mm all up for Saturday and Sunday and then another few mm this morning, looks like another 4 or 5 forecast for the night. Rather less than the 160 mm forecast-but all gratefully received

You can almost hear the grass growing. It has all soaked in nicely. Evidently there were floods around the streets of levin last night-but we didn't care!!!

SB, agree about the fact of being better to get wet than wear a raincoat!
