I've been given a pack of dried dates which are still in their shells. As it is a Chinese packaged product, there is no instruction in English on it that I can use for how to process for eating. Anyone know what I can do with these and how to process??

Did you know, that what you thought I said, was not what I meant :S

Can you post a photo of the dates? If they have a red skin, they can be used as an ingredient in a simple bone broth, usually with other dried Chinese herbs (they are sold together in packages in Asian stores); as an ingredient in sweet mung bean or adzuki bean soups; boiled with sliced ginger to relieve tickly dry coughs.
