I have two batches of home grown/made apple cider now bottled and stored in the garage. I was mindful of the instructions not to fill the bottles up, and regularly check that they are not about to ''blow''. My question is, at what point should I stop undoing the caps?
If I keep releasing the 'gas'' won't the cider go flat?
And my question re home grown/made apple juice. What makes the difference between apple juice and cider? My freezers are full of our apples and I'm keen to make ordinary juice. Would anyone care to share a favourite and trusted recipe please?
