Has anyone tried the Hungarian Artisan Co.'s salami?

They do nitrite-free salami and I am considering buying some, but they aren't cheap, so I'd rather know that they are tasty.

Yes, I've bought from them at the Tauranga Farmers Market, and they aren't bad. I preferred the spicy sort as I found the mild versions quite bland.

Guess what! They were at the Rotorua Farmers Market this morning. In the interests of science I tried all the samples:whistle:
The fennel and pink peppercorn was VERY strongly flavoured with fennel so be warned.
The Goan chorizo ( ) was very spicy, with Indian style spices. I liked it (but it ain't chorizo) but my friend found it too hot.
The truffle and mushroom I found bland, likewise the mild salami.
In the end I bought 2 spicy salamis ( which were pleasantly spicy but not too hot ) and a packet of "breakfast" chorizo that need to be cooked before consumption. I haven't tried them yet.
Hope this helps :)

Thanks for that! It is very helpful.

And thanks for the sacrifice of tasting all the samples! ;-)
