Because when I did on Sunday I ended up with a dislocated hip. I had both hips replaced 16 years ago and do Pilates and definitely did not expect this to happen. Incredibly painful but an ambulance trip, a manipulation, and a night in hospital got me sorted. Only problem is it has to treated as new replacement so am restricted for a few weeks. Then I expect to be told the old one is worn out and I'll be in line for a new one and be out of action again. There are other Christmas presents I'd rather have had!

Ouch! That sounds painful. I hope you are healing quickly.

Have to just sit around and wait for healing. It definitely feels very bruised and sore but because I can weightbear its frustrating. But our lovely family came to us on Christmas Eve and we had a lovely day - and I didn't go a thing. See the Doc on Wed so will know more then. Thanks for asking
